Welcome
I am a tenured (permanent) researcher of CSIC (Spanish Council
for Scientific
Research) since 1996, and a member of the Process Engineering Group
at IIM-CSIC, Vigo (Galicia, NW of Spain).
Education
I received a M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 1988, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from
the same University in 1991.
During 1992, I did a postdoc at the University of California, Davis (USA), and then spent three years as Assist. Prof. of Chemical Engineering at the
University of Vigo. During those years, I also spent several months
as visiting researcher at the University of Pennsylvania
and the M.I.T. (USA).
